The festival recognises international associations whose registration dates commence 1st January.

25 superb fields – 3 venues. Most of the tournament games will be played on grass fields; however some games might be played on 3G Astroturf. We therefore recommend to all teams to bring flat (Astro) shoes.

Festival Structure

  • All teams will commence playing in groups.
  • The teams placed first and second will enter the Knockout Competition.
  • Other teams will compete in the Plate Competition.
  • All teams will be guaranteed a minimum of 4/6 games.
  • In the event of adverse weather the festival committee reserve the right to amend the fixtures schedule according to the conditions.

Rules / Referees

  • The Competition is sanctioned by the Football Association, UEFA and FIFA.
  • All referees will be registered with the Football Association.
  • The duration of the games will be 25, 30, 35 and 40 minutes each way according to the category.
  • Three officials will be used for all semi-final and final games.
  • Substitutes – Boys and girls will be allowed a maximum of 5 substitutes (Roll on Roll off). Class H a maximum squad of 18 with repeat substitutions will be allowed.

In the morning we start visiting Manchester United’s ‘Theatre of Dreams’ where you will take in a Stadium Tour that includes visiting the Museum, Trophy Room, Mega Store, into the club’s players own hospitality room, visit to the Press Centre, dressing rooms and then walk down the ’Players Tunnel’ before taking your place in the ‘Dug Out’ for a final photo shoot. Lunch may be taken in United’s ‘Red Café’.

In the afternoon you have the chance for a Coaching Clinic with Manchester City’s Academy coaching team. The team members have vast experience to help players to improve their skills. Coaching clinics will work on professional training and emphasize skill development through Ball Control, Dribbling, Passing and Receiving, Shooting of the Ground (Technique), Small-sided games etc.
